How to hide split pane title bars in Iterm2 MacOS

Steps

Iterm2 preferences -> Appearance -> Panes -> toggle off show per-pane title bar

  • Split pane shortcuts
    • Cmd + d - for splitting window vertically
    • Cmd + Shift + d - for splitting window horizontally
